Daniel Boone’s Chad Heglar was a one-man wrecking crew Saturday night in the final game of the Washington-Hamblen County Shootout inside Michael R. Reed Gymnasium, as he dropped in 29 points in leading the Trailblazers to a 57-45 win over host Morristown West.
Heglar led a Blazer effort on offense that was great to say the least, as Boone hit 22 of 34 shots from the field in the contest, but it still needed to pull away late to put West away.
With the win, the Blazers improved to 7-5 on the season, while the loss dropped the Trojans to 13-7 on the year.
